Brickwork India was co-founded by Vivek Kulkarni and Sangeeta Kulkarni, to provide the benefits of outsourcing to global mid-size and small companies, at an affordable price. To transform this idea into a business model, they pioneered the unique concept of Remote Executive Assistance (REA™) that gives access to global businesses to a wide range of customised and personalised business support services under one roof. The mission was simple: To enable busy executives optimize their time and become more productive and laser-focused on critical work, by freeing them from routine, mundane and non-core tasks.
Since 2005, Brickwork has supported plus clients across countries and delivered more than projects. Its clientele ranges from Fortune 500 companies, mid-size companies and start-ups to innovative entrepreneurs and busy CXOs across industries. Some of the clients who have leveraged VEA support include well known industrialists, senators, media celebrities, Sr. Consultants, Wall Street firms, advisor to US president and CXO from large enterprises.

Founder & Chairman
Vivek has over 40 years of leadership experience in various government departments and in private business enterprise. As the Information Technology & Bio-technology Secretary, Govt. of Karnataka, he was instrumental in building world-class IT & Biotech institutes and events in Karnataka. He promoted public-private partnership in Governance. He has done extensive work in marketing Bangalore at the International level. During his tenure as IT Secretary, every week Bangalore has seen one new 100% foreign equity firm setting their office.
He has worked as Division Chief of the Securities & Exchange Board of India, a regulator of Capital markets. He has also headed the Advisory Services in CRISIL – a rating agency now taken over by S&P, where he developed the first risk assessment model for Indian mutual funds. Vivek was the Director as well as Chairman of the Technology Committee on the Board of the Bombay Stock Exchange, the oldest exchange in India.
Vivek is keenly interested in academia and is the visiting faculty for the MBA program in India’s premier management and science institutes - Indian Institute of Management and Indian Institute of Science. Vivek has taught MBA and executive MBA programs in Boston University, USA and is an expert in derivatives and risk management in commercial banks, investment banks and corporates. He has published in Financial Analysts Journal of the CFA Institute, Economic & Political Weekly as well as prominent finance newspapers.
Vivek is a gold medalist in Bachelor of Engineering from Karnataka University and is a graduate of the Wharton Business School, University of Pennsylvania.
Co-Founder & CEO
Sangeeta Kulkarni is the Co-Founder & CEO of Brickwork. Sangeeta’s areas of expertise include business strategy, customer experience, talent management and operational excellence. With laser-sharp focus on continuous improvement, she has always been a futuristic thinker and made timely investments in technology and competency development that has had a transformational impact on the business.
Sangeeta strong leadership and intuitive management style has made Brickwork, a professional, innovative and client-centric organization, with global acceptance as a premier provider of Business Support services. She has made continuous improvement integral to the company’s culture, thus ensuring that industry benchmarks are used to improve quality, processes and metrics.
She is passionate about contributing to society through CSR activities. As President of “Brickwork Foundation” she has initiated the whole school transformation project for rural schools for underprivileged children.
Prior to Brickwork, Sangeeta worked in corporate training, business development and HR roles with Accenture, HSBC Data Centre and Brilliant School of Management. Sangeeta holds a master’s degree in Human Resource Education and is an alumnus of Boston University and North-western University, USA.
Sr. Vice President
Rajesh has 30 years of experience in the areas of Audit & Accounts, Finance, Business Development and Business Operations.
Since 2006, Rajesh has been part of Brickwork’s entrepreneurial journey and has progressively driven the company towards operational excellence and compliance. He has provided strategic direction and analytical thinking to the business and has a proven ability to quickly win customer’s trust by bringing innovative solutions aligned to customers’ business challenges.
He started his career in one of the largest Chartered Accountancy firms and has also worked in India’s leading Real Estate group and Cleantech Company. He has done his Accountancy from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM, Calcutta). He is also a certified lead auditor of ISO 27001:2013.
Chief Financial Officer
Sharada is a seasoned Finance professional with 33 years of experience in Financial Management and Control, Audit, Taxation, Corporate governance, Treasury and Funding, Regulatory Compliance and Budgeting. She is responsible for the Financial, Administrative, and Risk Management operations of the Company.
Sharada joined Brickwork in 2005. As the Chief Financial Officer of Brickwork, she has been focussing on supporting the company’s strategic growth initiatives, driving the company’s financial performance and formulating policies and procedures for the needs of the growing organisation. She is also on the Board of Brickwork Foundation and has been involved with their CSR activities since it was founded in 2009.
Before joining Brickwork, she has had extensive experience in finance and accounts functions across different sectors like Manufacturing, Retail, Education and IT Services. She is a Commerce Graduate from MES College, Bangalore and is a qualified Cost Accountant (Grad CWA). Sharada is also a professional singer in carnatic music and has been training students in India and US for the past 34 years.
AVP - Compliance
Sripriya has over 25 years of extensive experience in Project Planning & Monitoring, Compliance audits, Management Information Systems (MIS), Data Analysis and Customer Service. Her expertise lies in leading pilot projects and new initiatives of the organisation and ensuring their successful scale-up and organisation-wide implementation.
Sripriya joined Brickwork in 2007 and is currently leading the compliance and automation team. She started her career at Brickwork as a Remote Executive Assistant, but her competence and drive for excellence, opened up opportunities to work and lead in diverse areas like IT, project management, Legal, MIS and Information security. She has been a major contributor to Brickwork’s drive for automation and data security measures.
Before joining Brickwork, she worked with a large Indian conglomerate. She is a Computer Science Graduate and certified in Lean Six Sigma (Yellow Belt), Lead auditor of ISO 27001:2013 and GDPR implementer.
AVP - Business Support Services
Srinivasa Murthy (Srini) has over 19 years of experience in the Financial Services industry with extensive experience in managing client relations with large operations. He has an impeccable record of achieving measurable business results with his acumen in Project management, Problem-solving, Change management, Process mapping, Business continuity planning, Lean-Six Sigma methodology and Team management skills.
Srini joined the Brickwork family in 2014 and is currently heading the Business Support services team which provides 24/7 support to global mid-sized and small businesses. His strong work ethics and people practices have helped in optimizing team and operational efficiencies, streamlining processes, and building strong relationships with customers, employees and other stakeholders.
Before joining Brickwork, Srini had a long association with a Fortune 500 Insurance company. He holds a master’s degree in Project Management.
AVP - Global Enterprise
Charles has over 19 years of a broad spectrum of experience in the customer service, banking, healthcare and GIS Industries. His main areas of expertise lie in Customer Service, Process mapping and design, Transformational lean implementation and managing large cross-functional teams.
Charles joined Brickwork in 2015 and is currently heading the Global Enterprise Business Services division. His strategic leadership has helped in optimizing delivery, streamlining processes, building competencies and developing an empowered front-line team. His efforts have resulted in productive partnerships with customers and scale-up of engagements in terms of service breadth and complexity. He has a proven track record of delivering consistent results in the Admin Managed Services Program and is currently laser-focused on competency building and continuous improvement measures to build capacity and efficiencies.
Before joining Brickwork, Charles worked with US based Fortune 500 companies. He holds a degree in Computer Science, a post-graduate degree in International Business and is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt professional.
Facilities & Admin
Ajayan joined Brickwork in 2006 and has 20+ years of experience in core Facility Management, Real estate and Procurement. His core competencies lie in setting up new facilities, project management, value-based negotiation, maintenance and administration of the facilities services for maximum employee comfort.
During his tenure, Ajayan worked in tandem with Brickwork’s business expansion. He completed three successful transitions of office spaces including selection of office space, setting up the infrastructure, procurement of all IT and non-IT assets, and facility management. He has driven energy saving green initiatives, controlled waste-generation and processed waste in a scientific manner, that made Brickwork largely a paperless office. Ajayan is also deeply involved in the CSR activities of Brickwork Foundation and has overseen various education projects for the underserved. A philanthropist himself, Ajayan also runs an NGO that provides free medical equipment to poor patients.
Before joining Brickwork, Ajayan worked with Government and private companies in manufacturing and service industries. Ajayan has studied computer programming and has specialised in Accounts and Costing.
Sr. Manager - Global Enterprise Business Services
Girish has 18 years of hands-on experience in the ITES and Recruitment industries. His areas of expertise lie in team management, process improvement, capacity planning, business development, project management, customer retention, vendor management, performance management and negotiation skills.
He joined Brickwork in 2007 as a Business support executive and his exemplary performance shot him to prominence in Brickwork. He heads the critical global enterprise accounts, which includes Fortune 500 business. He has initiated numerous programs to drive efficiencies and developed new capabilities. He has been involved in business development activities, largely with the small and midsized businesses across the world. Prior to Brickwork, Girish worked in the ITES Industry.
Girish holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Christ University, Bangalore.
Creatives and Branding
John has an overall professional experience of 27 years and leads a team of creative professionals with multiple skillsets like Print, Graphics, User Interface, and User Experience Designs.
He has been Brickwork’s lead designer since 2005 and brings with him a keen sense of creativity and ability to understand the clients’ mind. During his 15 years with Brickwork, he and his team have helped hundreds of businesses create brand identities through unique logos and websites with intuitive usability. John’s expertise lies in designing brand identities, brand collators, web applications, all types of websites and content management systems.
John has graduated in Computer Arts and Computer Technology and is an expert in Adobe Creative and Microsoft Office tools.
Manager - Global Enterprise Business Services
Fayaz is a seasoned professional with 15 years experience in project management and business operations. He currently manages a team supporting a large pharmaceutical company with headquarters in the USA. Fayaz joined Brickwork in 2009 as a Business Support Executive, with additional responsibilities and challenges being handled year on year, he advanced to the Manager position in 2022. Fayaz has extensive experience in client relationship management, stakeholder management, and financial management. Fayaz is well known for his problem solving skills and is often appreciated for the calm nature.
Fayaz holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics & Communication and has worked in India and Dubai in the technical support industry as a subject matter expert.
Manager - Global Enterprise Business Services
Manohar has over 18 years of experience in diverse domains like Customer Service, Motor Insurance, RTA Insurance and Fraud Investigation, Risk & ISO Compliance, and Banking
Manohar joined Brickwork in 2015 as a Team Lead and is currently managing a large team of Virtual Assistants, supporting a Fortune 500 global giant. Manohar is an excellent mentor and ensured an empowered frontline team that has been delivered outstanding results year on year. His leadership initiatives have resulted in optimized service delivery, streamlined processes, and increased cross-functional competencies of his team.

Rashmita has 16 years of hands-on experience in the Customer Service and Talent Acquisition domain. With excellent interpersonal and mentoring skills, she is closely involved in capacity building and planning, performance and conflict management.
She joined Brickwork in 2009 as a Business support executive and her excellent performance gave her an opportunity to manage a team of virtual assistants providing support to senior executives of fortune 500 company. She has high levels of commitment to exceed customer satisfaction by implementing performance improvement strategies and conquering challenges to drive business goals.
Rashmita has previously worked in Talent acquisition for companies like Agilent Technologies and Keane. She holds a master’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resources.

Rupesh has over 16 years of experience in customer service, general insurance, and business support services. He specializes in people management, performance management, competency development, strategic planning, and program management with a proven ability to improve best practices.
Rupesh joined Brickwork in 2010 as a business support executive and has worked his way up through his consistent performance. In his current role, he is responsible for achieving outcome-driven competency goals for the organisation with innovative programmes to embed learning in the employee culture. He leads by example and has been instrumental in driving performance, service excellence, new initiatives, capacity building, customer, and along with employee satisfaction.
Before joining Brickwork, Rupesh worked in the customer service and general insurance domains. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
Raghav joined Brickwork in 2011 and in his current role, he is responsible for growing the business from our marquee clients and focus on new business opportunities.
During his tenure with Brickwork, he has exhibited exceptional leadership qualities and has collaborated with key stakeholders in delivering high quality service. He also led the Customer compliance program successfully with 100% satisfactory scores.
Prior to joining Brickwork, Raghav the worked with several corporate giants. He holds a degree in Business Administration and is a certified Six Sigma Yellow Belt professional. On the personal front, Raghav is an avid long-distance runner and has a passion for vintage vehicles.
